Sexy is the Word?

I really have been away from Australia for too long. And none of you kids down under sounded the alarm that Melissa Tkautz was back in business. After watching her shamble her youth through Chances and E Street we now see her selling ant hill dildos to scrape in the cash. I believe she may have even released some new toons. Surely nothing to match the pure brilliance of Read My Lips and Sexy Is the Word? In Europe this woman would have give Gina G a run for her money.

Merry Christmas your sponsor child is doing great.

Pre Christmas Post

So I will be heading off to Turku, Christmas City, for the holidays and will be straight-suited-up when it comes to blogging. So my dears have a lovely Christmas and I will be back next year or perhaps sooner if I can get my hands on a computer.

For those interested there is a sentimental Christmas video of Turku so you can get the whole cold christmas idea. Grumpy-sun-deprived people and career alcoholics did not make the casting call but Merry Christmas to them too. Goodbye Porpise Spit.

Mexican Cartwheels

Woody Allen in Love and Death sees Finland as the best place to escape the Russian authorities because no one will bother to look for him there.

As we approach the darkest days of the year. What better way to escape Finland than to embrace the works of Woody Allen. Orion on Eerikinkatu 15 is screening from 15th December and presumably into January a selection of his films.

I caught the highly enjoyable A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy tonight and it's probable Christmas shopping will be displaced by Zelig, Broadway Danny Rose and The Purple Rose of Cairo this coming week.

The TAB key is right next to the Q

Just as Tab Hunter's new autobiography, Tab Hunter Confidential: The Making of a Movie Star, comes out so does he. source

More importantly he made 3 films with Divine - Polyester, Lust in the Dust and Out of the Dark. Onya Tab! I have only seen Lust in the Dust but plan on hunting down the others. Any reviews? recommendations?

99 Problems and a Finn is 1

OSLO, Norway - A Finnish citizen arrested on a public bus while drunk and nearly naked has set an apparent record for unpaid fines in Norway, with an estimated 99 of them, police said Friday.

Firstly I applaud the man for taking this kind of behaviour to Norway. We have enough career alcoholics on the public transport network of Finland. However, for entertainment value I want him back to do a tour of the complete tram network next summer. Erattika...Erattika....

Celebrity Finlandia

Ok it's slim pickings a few degrees south of the Arctic circle but still we will work with what we have. So I will introduce the celebs of Finland so they will be common knowledge in the future.

Some noteable Finn celebs, mostly from ancestry.

George Gaynes Commandant Lassard from Police Academy fame and George from Punky Brewster.

Renny Harlin Lauri Harjola. Finnish-American Personally I think The Adventures of Ford Fairlaine was his best work. Mr Geena Davis for a bit too. Starfucker - was once on a plane with Renny and Goldie.

David Chokachi American, with a Turkish father and a Finnish mother. Played Cody, the 'bad boy' of Baywatch for four years. Seems to be stuck in a TV trench, I saw some nice pics by David LaChapelle at a Vienna Photo exhibition once, oh the salad days for Dave.

Matt Damon, Matthew Paige Damon Second-generation American.quote . What a poofy middle name.

Jessica Lange Second-generation American with Finnish grandparents. Loved the woman in Cape Fear and one of the Mrs Kongs.

David Lynch Second-generation American with a Finnish grandfather. God of Celluloid.

Pamela Anderson Third generation canadian of Finnish decent. Although she wants no part of it click here Finnish women naturally have large breasts. I do not lie.

Tales of the Affairs

So its friday night and I am home alone with a bottle of cheap Chardonnay, Strangeways Here We Come on the stereo and unlimited blogspace.

I was recently thinking about finding a copy of Tales of the City to calm over all the violence and yuckiness of this week and was wondering what ever happened to Michael '"mouse" Tolliver aka Marcus D'Amico from Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City.

Well the mystery has been solved. He is still typecast even after not reprising the role in More and Further Tales of the City, and has been appearing in a UK soap Family Affair, which my dear old flatty was addicted to. Yes Yvette I'm talkin ta you.

Girlfriend in a coma time. la la la la la la la baby goodbye.

Has it gone all Tong for Pennis?

Perhaps it is the nostalgia of youth that has me on the verge of an Amazon purchase of the Complete works of Mr Pennis. So stop me anyone who thinks the sands of time may have tarnished the quality of Pennis? I saw Its all gone Pete Tong last night and was midly impressed, a bit Hable con ella in parts and a bit Kevin and Perry in others. I would still do Paul Kaye although he may need to change his name, but thats just a personal thing.

I am feeling Proud, how about you?

Comments from the PM on the so called "race riots" in Sydney.

When asked if Asian leaders had asked him about the violence, Mr Howard said, "It was mentioned informally, yes, a few people asked about it.
"We chatted about it over a drink before dinner."

"When they have settled down will be a time for people to think about the reasons why it occurred," he said.
"We should never lose sight of the fact that primarily what happened was that a group of people broke the law," he said.

John asked to be edited out of the picture above, his head managed to get stuck in the sand.

Albums of the week.

Ok I know these are all over the shop but this how I listen to music these days. Finland has the most amazing music collection in their library. So Merry Christmas to all those Finnish librarians who help deliver my weekly fix of music to my local library.

Sick of wrapping boring gifts?

Hands off boys he is all mine.

Stumbled across this wonderful service being offered by Ms Vera just in time for xmas. This tops "But I am a cheerleader" for me. Reality is so good.

I wonder if the Howard Government provides HECS for these types of courses?

Unleash the Beast

First there was Humo's "Let the beast go" commercial, now Mortierbrigade has made some prints (magazine double page). Humo is a Belgian magazine that will give away a free Durex condom with it's next issue. Now how could this be objectionable?

It really is about time that winter came. Sure I have enjoyed the long summer and autumn, but this hovering around the zero mark, slush, melting snow, sleet and or icy pavements is enough. The wind has turned me into a mobile chemist. Nozoil, lip protector and hand creme. Enough. The discoball, meant to replicate the sun in this dark period of the year, is not working. I think its emergency sunbed time again.

Will you marry me in South Africa?

South Africa's highest court ruled on Thursday that same-sex marriages enjoyed the same legal status as those between men and women, effectively making the nation one of just five that have removed legal barriers to gay and lesbian unions. Source

Finland, like other Nordic countries, allows a civil union also known as a partnership registration. It is almost the same as Marriage but does not allow adoption by the couple or sharing of a last name.

Tool of the Universe

Brendan McMahon, the Sydney bunny-fucker, saw the charge of bestiality dropped against him yesterday. Prosecutors couldn't prove he had used his penis to penetrate the lucky rabbit. McMahon has been telling the court psychiatrist that he is a "tool of the universe", whose purpose in life is to free rabbits and release them. His psychiatrist, Dr Allnut, says McMahon's "interest in nature, bird-watching and mysticism became distorted by amphetamine use". Presumably this meant that "releasing rabbits" became synonymous with "hack in to small pieces, mutilate and stick penis into."

The Comfort of Beth

Beth Orton will release her 4th longplayer on Febuary 7th 2006. I love the first single Conceived already birthed in the places were newborn music is found.
